Mayakkam Enna is a Tamil dubbed version of “Parichay” Hindi serial and was on aired on Colors TV during the period 2011 to 2013. Produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms, the serial had as many as nine directors. Samir Soni plays the male lead and well supported by Kirthi Nagpure in the role of the female lead. Music was scored by Lalith Sen and dialogues penned by Dheeraj. Kunal (Samir Soni), is an advocate by profession, living with his parents, two younger brothers, a sister, and his wife and two daughters , he is the elder of the two younger brothers. Mayakkam Ennawas aired from 2011 to 2013 and all the Mayakkam Enna episodes were immensely popular with the crowd.
A twist in the fate happens which lands Kunal out of his job and a break-up with his lady love, incidentally the daughter of his employer and senior advocate. Kunal ends up marrying the bride to be (Siddhi) of his youngest brother, who tries to ward off the ex-lover of his eldest brother and ends up sacrificing his life and causing a medical setback to his mother too. The new found love tries to blossom along with their lives. The story covers the continued break up between Kunal and his wife, orchestrated by his ex-lover, and all other events.
Siddhi ends up in prison in exchange for her family’s safety. This leads to a lot of misunderstanding among Kunal, the family and the twins which Siddhi delivers, get separated. After nine years, the story is picked up again and how the couple meets again through their employer and what construes through further hurdles posed by newfound characters forms the rest of the story. The twins plan to reunite their parents with their ideas and succeed in the family rejoining to live together.
Samir Soni (as Kunal) Samir Soni who hails from Delhi is an award-winning Model turned Television actor and film actor. He has bagged many awards for his performance in Television serials, mainly as a Popular / Most preferred Male artist. He married twice with a short-lived first marriage. He has a daughter. Keerti Nagpure (as Siddhi) Keerti who hails from Pune started acting in serials from the year 2010. Parichay got Keerti as many as seven awards from 2011 till 2013. She also acted in a film in the Marathi language.

Polimer TV (also known as Polimer) is an Indian television channel based in Chennai, India. It was launched by Kalyana Sundaram as a local TV station in Rasipuram, which was carried only on subscription providers. It later changed its programming to an entertainment network and expanded its coverage area to the whole State of Tamil Nadu. As part of its association with Colors TV, Sony TV and SAB TV, Polimer TV is broadcasting their television shows dubbed in Tamil.[2] The network has also launched a spin-off news channel named Polimer News.[3]
In Malaysia, its available only via Unifi TV on Channel 312.
